Congratulations to Navarre High School's Mia Segura, on being selected as the Student of the Week for 10/20-10/24! Congratulations, Mia!! We are so proud of you for representing NHS and SRCDS with all that you do! 👏 #SRCDS1stChoice

Nomination:
Mia Segura from Raiders4Rescue has been nominated for Student of the Week by NHS. As a junior, Mia is involved with numerous organizations at school. She founded and leads R4R, a group that helps address the overpopulation of shelter dogs and cats by raising awareness and supporting local rescue shelters in Escambia and Santa Rosa county through cleanups, donations, and ongoing assistance. Mia is also active in several honor societies, Student Government, Mock Trial, History Club, Interact Club, Class Board, and the Raider Gem dance team. Outside of school, she participates in the local Lambda Epsilon Chi honor society (for paralegal/legal studies), Youth Diplomats, SRC Jr. Leadership, and other leadership organizations. She is a dual-enrolled student at PSC and takes AP classes at her high school. Mia is always ready to help others and her community. When she has free time, she works at her family’s business, volunteers at animal shelters, spends time with loved ones, or enjoys the beach.

The Student Choice Event, hosted by Chartwells K12, was a success earlier this week! Students at Milton High School got to taste-test the brand-new Chicken Smackers and cast their vote for the ultimate dipping sauce showdown: Sriracha Honey Mustard vs. Dip'N Sauce.

It was close, but Dip'N Sauce took the crown—just 3 votes ahead! 🏆

Thanks to everyone who participated and made lunchtime extra delicious! 😋
