Today's Student Choice Event at Avalon Middle School gave students the chance to sample two cheesy favorites before casting their vote. After a close competition, Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks claimed the overall win, with 6th and 7th graders leading the charge, while 8th graders favored the Baked Mozzarella Sticks!
The best part? Seeing students engaged, excited, and having fun while sharing their opinions. Thanks to everyone who helped make this event a success! #SRCDS 🍽️🎉

Supplies are limited, and there is no guarantee what will be available at each site.

As our community continues to recover from Hurricane Isaias, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Trunk or Treat event scheduled for October 23 at the Douglas A. Dillon Center.

💙 Back Together at SRCDS 💙
Today marked a successful return to school following Hurricane Isaias, and we couldn't be more grateful. Seeing our students, teachers, educational support staff, and administrators back together in our classrooms brought a sense of normalcy and hope that many of us have been looking forward to.
Despite the challenges our community has faced in recent days, our schools reopened as planned, our buses safely transported students, and learning resumed across the district. Thank you to our families, employees, and community partners for your patience, flexibility, and support throughout the recovery process.
We are grateful to be back together and focused on what matters most, preparing our students for a successful future.
