The Pre-K Development Center

The Pre-K Development Center (PDC) was started in August 2020 to establish an inclusive environment for PreK students. This creative learning environment houses four inclusive classes, technology lab, and outdoor classroom. Each classroom has a maximum of 18 students, one teacher and two paraprofessionals uniquely qualified to activate your child's desire to learn. The PDC is an accreditated program receiving 99.47% indicators met for Early Learning.

VPK Application Steps

Step 1: Fill out VPK eligibility on the Office of Early Learning Website.

Step 2: When this is completed, they will send you a certificate of eligibility.  When this is received, please email it to HauptN@santarosa.k12.fl.us and CC Colemant@santarosa.k12.fl.us.  Please indicate that you would like placement at the PreK Development Center (PDC).

Step 3: Once the certificate of eligibility is received, Ms. Haupt will contact you to let you know if it has been approved.  Once approval is received, Tiffanie Coleman will reach out and contact you about next steps for registration.

Step 4: Summer office hours are 8:00-3:00
